About the Body Shop
On March 3rd, 2009, KBS Constructors presented Victory Junction Midwest with a “gift from the heart” representing their commitment to build the Midwest camp’s Body Shop free of charge. As specialists in Critical Environment Construction, KBS brings expertise gained from years of experience working in sensitive environments with them to the project. The Body Shop will house advanced medical equipment, providing on-site medical support to ensure a safe, yet fun environment for children and families who attend Victory Junction.
Without The Body Shop, there could be no Victory Junction. The campers’ medical needs require the presence of a fully capable urgent care center. At the same time, providing them with the full camp experience means preventing the facility from feeling like a hospital—an environment these children have become entirely too familiar with. This balance between comfort and care demands that all parties involved in the design and construction of the Body Shop apply their expertise to the task of creating rooms that match the feeling of escape created by the camp as a whole.
As a not-for-profit organization, the camp operates solely through the support of generous donors like KBS Constructors to provide this experience at no cost to children and their families. Please join KBS in helping Victory Junction give these kids the experience of a lifetime.
